May, 1stWe did a few things around the farm today but most of the day I was preparing for my radio debut. I happen to be in love with a local radio station. 91.7 KAXE is run out of Grand Rapids, MN which is about an hour from here, we listen to this station all day long while working. Joan (one of the DJs at KAXE) is good friends wth John and Lissa; she offered Jen (a good friend of mine) and I an opportunity to guest host on a program called Back Porch Harmony. The show is all about bluegrass and old country, which Jen and I are huge fans of so it was easy for us to come up with three hours of material. Jen and I are also going to be taking KAXE's programming class so we will be able to host our own shows soon.
